HSE Policy

At Minetech Engineering (Pty) Ltd, we are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment for all our employees, contractors, visitors, and the community. We believe that the well-being of our workforce is paramount and essential to the success of our business operations. Therefore, we strive to continuously improve our health and safety performance by implementing effective policies, procedures, and practices.
Our Health and Safety Policy is guided by the following principles:​ 

1. Compliance: We will comply with all relevant health and safety laws, regulations, standards, and industry best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
2. Risk Assessment: We will identify, assess, and control workplace hazards to prevent accidents, injuries, and occupational illnesses.
3. Training and Education: We will provide adequate training, information, instruction, and supervision to enable employees to work safely and responsibly.
4. Communication: We will promote open communication channels for reporting health and safety concerns or incidents promptly.
5. Emergency Preparedness: We will develop emergency response plans and procedures to mitigate risks in case of emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters.
6. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): We will provide appropriate PPE to employees based on risk assessments and ensure its proper use at all times.
7. Incident Investigation: We will investigate all accidents, near misses, or hazardous occurrences to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
8. Continuous Improvement: We will regularly review our health and safety performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and take proactive measures to enhance workplace safety.

This policy applies to all activities conducted by Minetech Engineering (Pty) Ltd at our facilities or project sites. All employees are expected to adhere to this policy as part of their daily responsibilities.
